Praise God for the gifts of His little ones, whose faces are ever before our Father. Yes may we open our hearts to give Him and receive Him in each other! I remember... Mama, Jesus is hungry... 😭So very precious
Anna, thank you for these words of contrition and reconciliation. It helps me to appreciate the growth and connectivity I’ve experienced in my own wounds.
Oh yes: I know you know this humbling too, Charlene. I feel like God just keeps plunging me deeper and deeper into it, as He reveals my own sinfulness and desperate need for Him ever more. He's enlarging my heart in His love and ever increasing my yearning to see the reward of His suffering: a wholly healed, united and glorious Body of Christ. No more divisions, but the walls of salvation and the gates of praise revealed.
Makes me think of that verse: then we shall see in full, what we now see but in part. After my Mum died this verse held my broken body and heart through the not getting it: "And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." And it carries me still.

Amen, Bettie. So thankful for God's humbling grace.

Wow…powerful words.
Someday I hope to say, “Yes God, I get it, and thank you for all of it!”
