May Poetry and Prayer
I Behold You: Jesus!
Welcome to May’s poetry and prayer. This month, the poem I penned is my prayer. May it bless you, just as much as it did me in penning it.
I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart! Ps 119:32
Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
and strengthen your stakes. Isaiah 54:2
I Behold You: Jesus! I hear You call Look up! And behold You As Stephen did In Saul. Not the stones Falling But the stone Rolling. Your Word A sea of mercy Awaking Eternity In my heart Hidden I behold You: The Bread of Life In thanksgiving To the heavens Lifted, blessed And broken Unto abundance In surrender To the Father Given. Eliyana Yes, our God Has answered. Zechariah Yes, our God Has remembered. The tent pegs I AM stretching Ever wider My inner cup Daily washing A new heart You’re revealing The Son of God Face to face Yes, I believe You are The Bread of Life! My eyes Opening In the Bread's Breaking I behold You: Jesus! In the Name Of the Father Son and Holy Ghost Amen.

Oh this is so very precious! 😭 He has truly enlarged my heart as I've watched Him enlarging my brother's heart. And he just stepped into eternity with Jesus last night! Oh praise God for the gift of eternity in our hearts, so longing for that precious day when we all will be reunited together in Him there! Thank you dear Anna for sharing such words that bring the gifts of His grace ever closer. I am so thankful for you.
